Many fellow self-publishers have continued to build on the secrets I shared in that first report, but I kept getting an itch on the inside that an update was overdue. The publishing landscape is moving rapidly, and what worked yesterday may not be effective today. 

Lots has changed in the years following my breakthrough, and this updated and expanded training takes things to the next level for self-publishers and indie authors. Not only have I learned how to make more, I have refined every process so the effort to do so is less. 

Some weeks all I need to do is send a simple email to my readers, and weekly and monthly profits continue to climb. I still have to shake myself some days to believe that this is real!

But it was not always that way.

I actually struggled for several years before I even saw my first half-decent royalty check from Amazon Kindle. It was pitiful, but at least it was something. A glimmer of hope in a long journey.

I kept reading about people killing it with Kindle. Quite frankly, all of those success stories did nothing more than amplify my feeling of being a loser!

I kept thinking, what's wrong with me?

I bought product after product, and even shelled out $1997 for 'expert' coaching. At the time that was a huge amount, and caused arguments with my wife when she found out I was throwing even more money at this "kindle thing".

One month I would make a few hundred, and the next almost nothing. Even so, I refused to accept that this opportunity did not have my name written all over it.

I'm stubborn like that!

Now listen. I don't want you to get the wrong idea here.

I am not throwing around numbers to get you super-excited about your potential and what you can do as a self-published author. The top of this page says I went to $652,766 in just 3 years - that refers to what happened AFTER I started applying the lessons I learned and share in this report. There were plenty of hard yards before I finally cracked the Kindle code, so I know exactly how it feels.

I’m not a big fan of people splashing their earnings everywhere to leverage people into the false idea that making money is an easy result of following a few simple steps. I have a system in place today that makes it possible for me to live what I only dreamed of for years. But the steps to build that system took a lot of diligence, and more early mornings, and late nights than most are willing to put in.

Honestly, I have found that there are lots of factors that lead to success so don't be duped by fancy figures. This requires some sweat, and getting here has taken a lot of time and tears. I am glad to say today though, that it was worth it. Not only from a financial point of view, but for the freedom it has given me and my family. With four kids, two of whom have just started college, you will understand my motivation to make it work. 

And I am not a big player in self-publishing. I am not nearly as successful as some who earn more in month than I do in a year, but I do know that you can take what I teach and apply it straight away. I'm still in the trenches with you, doing myself all that I teach others.

I'm just a regular guy who focused in one direction for a long time.
